The development applications (within the meaning of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979) and associated documents received in relation to a proposed development made publicly available on this website in connection with the Council's online application tracking system are open access information (in respect of which is considered that there is not an overriding public interest against disclosure) that are required to be made publicly available by the Council under sections 6 and 18 of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 ("GIPA Act") and Schedule 1 of the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2009 ("GIPA Regulation"). In that regard it should be noted that nothing in the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 affects the operation of the GIPA Act or operates to lessen obligations of the Council under the GIPA Act".
Plans, drawings and other documents associated with development applications that can be viewed on this website may be protected by the copyright laws of Australia and are provided only as a source of information about the development applications made to Coffs Harbour City Council ("Council") for the purposes of allowing you to view the content in your web browser (and in any cache files produced by the browser).
